Project description:
At our client, a global leader in affiliate marketing, we are looking for a Senior Software Engineer. You will extend and maintain applications within our platform, advocate for clean and secure code, and collaborate with product managers to translate user needs into technical solutions. As a senior team member, you will address challenges from business growth, ensuring our services meet evolving business and customer needs.

Cerințe:

Skills & Expertise Required

At least 6 - 8 years of hands-on experience in commercial Software Engineering roles.
Experience with Java v17, Maven, Spring Boot v3, Docker, and Git.
Proficient in developing applications with Docker and serverless technologies on AWS.
Passion for writing elegant code and a desire to constantly refactor and improve, with a good understanding of SOLID principles.
Expertise in designing and implementing RESTful APIs within a microservices architecture.
Ability to conduct a thorough code review process, write unit tests, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
Understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms.
Understanding of relational database design principles and proficiency in SQL and non-relational databases like DynamoDB.
Familiar with agile processes, Scrum or Kanban.
Nice to have

Experience working with PHP, including building and maintaining web applications.
Experience working with front-end code, ideally using Angular.
Maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with cache solutions such as Redis, Memcached, or else.
Experience with streaming and queuing solutions (ideally Kafka, Kinesis, or SQS).
Working on high-volume transactional systems.
Knowledge of TDD and Pair Programming practices.
Experience in monitoring applications.
Knowledgeable about information security, able to design and implement solutions with mitigation against security threats.
