Data engineer mid-senior

Position Summary
3+ year experience in Big Data on:
• parallel processing concepts;
• strength in data modelling and data migration;
• data analysis and analytics;
• ETL on large and complex data sets;
• distributed file systems, search engines;
• worked both with SQL & NoSQL databases;
• experienced with search engines;
• understand Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS, Yarn, Hue, Hive, Oozie);
• design and implement scalable ETL processes and workflows;
• evaluate business needs and objectives to set up the best data management environment.

Mandatory Skills and Abilities
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science
• 4+ year of coding experience with modern programming or scripting language (Python/Java/Scala)
• Experience with AWS; experience using Google Cloud Computing Analytics and Big Query.

Preferred Qualifications
• Linux, Docker;
• Experience with AWS cloud services including Big Data Technologies (Redshift, RDS, S3, Glue, Athena, Aurora, EMR, Spark, Hive, etc.);
• Experience working with Google Cloud Platform services – BigQuery and Data Studio is a plus;
• Demonstrated database development, Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, Redshift, NoSQL and data warehousing;
• Experience using business intelligence reporting tools (AWS QuickSight, Power BI, Tableau, etc.);
• Previous experience working with Bitbucket Pipelines;
• Great level of autonomy and start-up spirit;
• Clear communicators to translate and understand complex information;
• Problem solvers and innovators.
