Data engineer

We are seeking a Data Engineer to join our growing team. The Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the data pipelines that support our business intelligence and analytics efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering and experience working with large data sets.

Responsibilities:

Design and build data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from a variety of sources
Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data needs and develop solutions to support their work
Optimize data pipelines for efficiency and performance
Monitor and maintain data pipelines to ensure data integrity and availability
Develop and maintain documentation for data pipelines and processes
Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
2+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role
Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python, Java, C++, etc.)
Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and/or NoSQL databases
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Experience working in a fast-paced, agile development environment preferred
