QA Automation - AQA - JavaScript

Norwegian product company is looking for a Junior Automation QA with at least 1 year of experience as QA to work solely on end-to-end testing for web applications. This role will involve implementing testing solutions using established frameworks and guidelines provided by the senior development team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain end-to-end test scripts to ensure functionality and performance of web applications.
- Work closely with senior developers to follow best practices and adhere to established testing frameworks.
- Document test results and contribute to test reporting to keep the team informed on product quality.
- Identify and report any potential issues or improvements to enhance application stability.
- Maintain a clear understanding of the testing scope and project guidelines.

Key Tasks:
- Develop end-to-end tests based on user flows and specifications.
- Perform regular testing and debugging to detect and resolve issues before release.
- Work within a provided framework, adhering to structured testing procedures.
- Contribute to continuous improvements by suggesting enhancements for testing processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- At least 1 year experience as QA Automation
- TypeScript (preferred): Basic knowledge or experience is a big plus.
- Testing Frameworks (training provided): Previous experience with any testing framework
- Attention to Detail: Keen ability to identify issues and report them accurately.
- English - Upper-Intermediate.

Tools and Technologies:
- Core Tech Stack: HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Frameworks and Tools: We are going to use the library “Playwright” for the tests.
- Testing & Reporting Tools: Training will be provided for specific internal tools used by the team.
