QA engineer / tester

Intelogos is a human analytics software that will help people maximize their potential. Based out of New York but built fully remote we are changing the way we look at people.

Responsibilities:
- Manually testing the web application, desktop application, mobile application
- Creating and writing test cases
- Creating bug reports with detailed explanation of the issue with screenshots and videos where applicable.
- Proofreading and checking project documentation for logical and other gaps and issues.
- Analyze test coverage and improve where needed.
- Create tasks based on bug reports in our task management system. Notifying developers about it and helping them understand and solve the reported problems.
- Communication with the rest of the team.

Requirements:
- Have 2+ years experience testing web and mobile or desktop applications.
- Know principles and parts of test documentation (test cases, test plans, etc)
- Know types and methods of software testing
- Understand principle of modern UI and UX
- Know SQL, be able to work with databases directly
- Experience with Postman
- Understand the client-server architecture
- Know REST, understand HTTP and JSON
- Experience working with bug trackers and task managers
- Be detailed oriented, attentive and responsible

Work hours:
We don’t have required work hours but we ask that all team members remain online and working during the period of 8am-11am New York time (EST).
