Trucking Claims Specialist

Atlas Freight is a well-established trucking company seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Trucking Claims Specialist to manage and resolve insurance claims related to our fleet operations. We are looking for a candidate with experience in handling claims, strong communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Investigate and manage claims involving trucking accidents, damages, and liability.
Communicate with insurance companies, drivers, and other third parties to resolve claims.
Prepare necessary documentation and ensure all required paperwork is completed.
Review and assess claim validity, negotiate settlements, and ensure timely resolution.
Maintain detailed records of claims activity and follow up on pending cases.
Assist with internal reporting and provide updates to management.
Provide excellent customer service to drivers and clients throughout the claims process.

Requirements:

Prior experience as a Claims Specialist in the trucking or transportation industry is preferred.
Strong knowledge of insurance claims processes and procedures.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
Ability to manage multiple claims and prioritize tasks effectively.
Proficiency in MS Office and claims management software.
Ability to work independently and remotely if necessary.
